Switching to Super Administrator on Windows Vista

Great question that is. Because, by default, Vista will disable the administrator profile so that the user can inadvertently system. But in some cases it may be useful to have access to this and that is precisely what will be the ticket. Yes, the world is well done ...

So now, it should be noted that the method is different depending on whether you use a family or a professional version. At the same time, Vista is a Microsoft product so you know what to expect before they buy your license.

Vista Pro / Ultimate

If you have a pro or ultimate, you have spent a little more money than others (or not). Therefore, it is normal that you are privileged. Precisely because, on a pro or ultimate, it works on your own ...
  • Start by simultaneously press the button "Windows" and "R". A window "Run" opens. Good is what we needed.
  • In the field that goes well, type the following phrase: lusrmgr.msc. Normally it takes you to validate the implementation of this program, what you can do without worry. Note that the window of users and local groups should open.
  • Start by clicking "Users" then go to the properties of the profile "administrator". By default, the account is disabled. Just uncheck the box and you can finally switch to that profile.

Re: Switching to Super Administrator on Windows Vista

Friendly Version

Could you break the heart, but on the version of the poor is already a bit more complicated. And yes, at the same time it had to be expected.
Nevertheless, I recommend the following steps to the letter and thinking to make a backup of your Registry before putting in the nose.
  • Press and hold the "Windows" and "R". A charming window opens, just to type a nice "regedit" History Explorer launch the registry.
  • Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE Microsoft Windows NT CurrentVersion Winlogon. There, right-click Winlogon and select New> Key. Call the SpecialAccounts.
  • Do the same manipulation on the key that you created earlier to add a subkey that call UserList. It's just that history does not get bored.
  • Select UserList and go in the right window to continue. Again, simply right click and select New> DWORD 32 bits. Give him the name Administrator and put him "1" in value. Basically, it means that active profile administrator on the machine. To turn it off, it would have a "0".
  • Open a command window in administrator mode and just type: net user administrator / active: yes. Now, close your session, you can see the profile in the list administrator. Wonderful, is not it?

Last of all-thing-itself. As on any operating system, it is strongly advised to use the profile administrator to manage the tasks. This does nothing and makes the machine much more vulnerable.
