This works on Windows 2000:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet
\Services\Tcpip\Parameters
GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize - 372300 (others will work... 256960 and 65535 are also popular)
TcpWindowSize - same as GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize
Tcp1323Opts - 3, though some believe 1 is better
TcpMaxDupAcks - 2 (?)
MaxDupAcks - 3
SackOpts - 1
DefaultTTL - 128, though some believe 64 and 32 are also ok
EnablePMTUDiscovery - 1
EnablePMTUBHDetect - 0
PMTUDiscovery - 0 (?)
Finally, in the following key, you'll want to find the adapter listing that contains your NIC card settings. It often is the biggest and most detailed key with subkey info.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\
Services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces\<pick one>
Once you find it, add:
MTU - 1500
Of course, rebooting is usually required for this stuff to take effect.
