How to find your public IP address?

ipconfig (Windows) or ifconfig (Linux) will give you your IP address.
But if you're behind a router that makes NAT, this does not correspond to your public IP address.

This requires use of external sites.
Here is a list of pages that will give you your public IP address:

Sometimes, you just have to go through your router (if you have one) to know. For instance, livebox, visit http://192.168.1.1/ and you will find the IP address with which you are identified on the Internet.
