Change Windows Media Player Titlebar

Do you ever want to change the title bar of your Windows media player? If yes than this tip allows you to change the title bar from Windows Media Player to Windows Media Player provided by <Yourname>. So if you enter the text Techarena, it would read: Windows Media Player provided by Techarena.

If you want to do so, just follow this steps:-

1. Goto Run(Win+R) or by start menu

2. Type “regedit” (without quotes) in the run dialogue box .

3. In the registry editor navigate to

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft

4. Create the Key [WindowsMediaPlayer].

Modify/Create the Value Name [TitleBar] according to the Value Data listed below.

Data Type: REG_SZ [String Value] // Value Name: TitleBar
Value Data: [Enter the text to be displayed in the title bar.]

5. Exit Registry editor and reboot.

IMHO any "tweaks" that you can learn help you 2B more comfortable and knowledgeable about your system.Nobody was born knowing how to do any of this stuff,but each thing I have learned over the years have allowed me to open another door to understand how stuff works.As the saying goes.....a thousand mile journey begins with a single step.BTW years ago when I put my name at the top of IE people would say how did you do that and can you put my name on my system? So started my learning journey and it sure has been fun and so many things 2tweak. ENJOY and above all have fun.
