| How to files open in a new window
Sometimes the default (which corresponds to a double click) to open a file change, which will open files in new windows, which annoying. To return to normal functioning of the double click, follow these steps in order. Step 1: Check in the Folder Options 1. Open the Explorer (why open a folder or My Computer, for example).
2. On the General tab, check that box open all files in a single window and checked. 3. Validate the window and try to see if it works or not. Step 2: Verify the default action for opening files XP
For Vista (and also available in XP)
The changes will be immediate. |
