Enable / Disable compatibility mode in Windows 2000

We will see how to bring up the tab "Compatibility with Windows 2000. Like Windows XP, this tab to try to run programs or ancient games originally planned for earlier versions of Windows and have not been tested for Windows 2000.

Note that this trick works only from Service Pack 2 for Windows 2000.

Here's how to activate this tab:

• In a session administrator, open the window ... Run from the Start menu.
  
  
• Then type the command regsvr32 c: \ winnt \ apppatch \ slayerui.dll
  
  
• After successful registration, a new tab to enable compatibility mode is present in the properties of executable programs.

• To disable the compatibility mode, perform the following steps:
  
• Start a Run box (Start, Run).
  
• Enter the following command:
  
  regsvr32 /u %systemroot%\apppatch\slayerui.dll
  
• Click OK.
  
  
• Click OK to the confirmation.

The Compatibility tab will no longer appear.
