Logitech offers on its website a collection of gadgets which are not only compatible with the Windows Vista Sidebar, but also with Yahoo! Widgets. Most of these gadgets only work with Logitech hardware, but some are compatible with all keyboards, like the three gadgets here.

Gadget No. 1: Keyboard Dashboard Keyboard Dashboard measures your typing speed. It displays a counter the number of keys, your average typing speed (AVG field) and your current typing speed (needle meter). You can reset the dashboard at any time by clicking the circular arrow icon.
Gadget No. 2: Error Rate Calculator Error Rate Calculator counts the number of times you use the Backspace key, characteristic of a correction. It then compares this number to the total number of keys pressed and gives an indication of accuracy of your typing. A rate above 5% indicates that you need more lead to master the keyboard.
Gadget No. 3: Key Lock Status
The third gadget is especially useful to those who have a wireless keyboard, most of them being devoid of diodes to save energy. This gadget shows the status of Caps Lock, Num Lock and Scroll Lock keys.
