As you probably noticed, Windows is capable of retaining the last fortnight of documents you have open (text files, images, archives ...) in the Start Menu, subpart Documents.

But some of you may be preferred that such information is not retained. Besides systematic deletion, there is a trick to cut this "safeguard" in Windows.

For this direction Base Register (type regedit in the Start / Run). Visit the following key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Micrososft \ Windows \ Current Version \ Policies \ Explorer

On the Edit menu, then New, choose "Binary Value." Name this value NoRecentDocsMenu

Double click the new icon, and give it the value 01 00 00 00

At the next reboot, Windows does save the most recently opened documents.
To undo this change, simply remove the line that you created in the registry and Rebooting.
