An IP address is dynamically assigned to a computer that connects to the Internet and who requests the DHCP server network (which distributes addresses). This server can be either a Windows PC sharing Internet access, a router, for example. This address is granted for a limited time ... usually one or two days. If restart before the expiry of that period, it may happen that a computer is denied the award of a new address because it already has, as the DHCP server. In this case, any connection is made impossible.

To fix this, we must release the IP address of the PC before you ask a new one. To this end, pull down the menu Start, Run. Type cmd and click OK. Type ipconfig / release, then press Enter. Then type ipconfig / renew and press Enter. Finally, type exit and then press the Enter key.

Once all these changes are made, everything should return to normal order.
