ReadyBoost technology exploits the speed of new flash memory keys for USB 2.0 improve performance of Windows.This memory is used as a cache for information system deported on the disc.For the performance gain is significant, USB keys must reach a certain level of performance:

  • A speed Shuffle (in blocks of 4 KB) of at least 3.5 MB / sec.

  • A random write speed (in blocks of 512 Kb) of at least 2.5 MB / sec.

  8. Open the key "\ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ EMDgmt."

  9. Locate your device in the list.

  10. Change the Device Status and go to the "2".

  11. Change the value WriteSpeedKBs and go to the "1000".

  12. Change the value ReadSpeedKBs and go to the "1000".

  13. Close Regedit.

  14. Connect to the device memory and wait for it to be detected and recognized.

  15. Open Explorer (Start menu, then "Computer").

  16. Ask the properties of the device. Allez dans l'onglet ReadyBoost . Go to the ReadyBoost tab.

  17. Check "Use this device".
