Create self extracting archives in Windows XP

Windows XP includes a hidden utility for creating self-extracting compressed archives.

This means that the program to extract the archive is integrated into the archive and therefore, no external program is required.

IExpress is the name of the program is in the C: / Windows/System32.

    • You can run simply by clicking on the Start menu, click Run

    • Then typing IExpress then validated by the Enter key. Follow the directions in the wizard to create self-extracting compressed archives(sfx)
