You can change the Vista product key after installation:

1. Open the Start menu.
   
   
2. Start a command prompt mode "Administrator" (using the right mouse button).
   
   
3. Enter the "slmgr-ipk" followed by your new code.
   
   
4. To activate Vista with this new key, type the command "slmgr-ato.
