How can we Disable Right-click Functionality in Windows XP.
Hi Landry,
This way you can easily disable RIGHT-CLICK Functionality in WINDOWS XP
but you should have Access to REGISTRY EDITOR.
Remember to back up your registry before making any changes CLICK HERE TO LEARN HOW TO IT
- CLICK ON "START" BUTTON
- SELECT "RUN"
- These Dialogs box will appear
- In These box Type "REGEDIT.EXE" (WITHOUT QUOTES") Press Enter.
- Navigate to Following in REGISTRY EDITOR "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer"
- Look for the value name "NoViewContextMenu"
- If it doesn’t exist, create it through the edit menu->new->DWORD
- Type in a 0 to disable right clicking and a 1 to enable right clicking.
- Now close the registry editor and restart your computer after any changes to go into effect.
