Solution for Runtime Error 429 : ActiveX Component Can't Create Object

Error 429 - object creation ActiveX component is not possible

Due to: Faulty MAPI initialization of the system

Platform: Win 98, Win ME, Win 2000, Win XP, Win 2003, Win Vista

Description: When the error message Runtime Error 429 - object creation ActiveX component is not possible, it is a failed MAPI initialization of the system. The CDO. Dll (Microsoft C ollaboration D ata O bjects) belongs to Microsoft Office Outlook (for Microsoft Exchange) and is either damaged or missing.
There may also be the DAO350.dll from MS Access 97 or DAO360.dll of MS Access 2000 act.

Solution:

The Cdo.dll in the prompt re-register:
Start - Run - regsvr32 path / Cdo.dll

Example:
regsvr32 "C:\Programme\Gemeinsame Dateien\System\MSMAPI\1031" /CDO.DLL regsvr32 "C: \ Program Files \ Common Files \ System \ MSMAPI \ 1031" / Cdo.dll
(Drive letter and path and adjust if necessary path in quotation marks).
For the DAO350.dll/DAO360.dll: regsvr32 C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1031 ". Windows Vista is the Cdo.dll in the directory "C: \ Program Files \ Common Files \ System \ MSMAPI \ 1031".

this will not succeed, because the Cdo.dll 1031 in the directory does not exist, the Cdo.dll from the Office CD be integrated.
About Panel - Software - Microsoft Office - "Change / Remove" - Add or Remove Features - Advanced customization of applications "activate -" Next "- the plus sign in front of Microsoft Office Outlook" button - "Collaboration Data Objects" option - "Upgrading ".

Hi,

You can also do it by downloading the Microsoft Office 2000/Windows 2000 Registry Repair Utility. The Microsoft Office 2000/Windows 2000 Registry Repair Utility restores the registry settings for several important files that prevent potential issues.

Download this file - RegSvr32.Exe.

and then issue the command RegSvr32 C:\progra~1\common~1\micros~1\dao\dao350.dll

from Start/Run under Win95/NT 4.0.

Most of the times, that usually solves the problem. If that doesn't help, then uninstall Office, remove DAO folder under Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft\office, and then re-instal Office 97.
