How to calculate the Master Code of Nokia phone in case you forget your security/lock code?

Usually unclocking any phone is not legal and it also voids the warranty of the mobile phone that you do on. So it is better not to unlock any phone which can also result in mobile failure or so, in terms of future prospects when counted or so. Best buy an unlocked phone or use the service from what the provider has to offer.

There seems to be different master codes for different nokia 7210 supernova models. You can try the code "*#7370#" without quotes in your cell phone but beware that it will reset all your phone settings to default. Else, you can generate master code using your IMEI, which can be viewed by pressing *#06# and keying that in the link mentioned @ unlockme.co.uk

Well buddy, the only way to break this code is by doing Software/Firmware update of your device. The other way is by taking it to Nokia Service center but i'll like to make you know that they too break the code by doing the same and will charge. Just download Nokia OVI suite, install it on your system and follow the process to update your device. Along with breaking code, you will also get some new features on your device.

You should know that security codes aren not based on by your IMEI. It's also not a good idea to post your IMEI number online or anyone. They are either 0000, 00000, 1234 or 12345. That's the default code set by the manufacturer to reset the data. If you are asking about the lock code, then you are pretty out of luck.

i am using nokia 5310 Xpressmusic and my phone IMEI is 353092022062194 that i got by using *#06# and using this IMEI i got the master code on internet for my mobile and code is 4604172520 but while i try to restore factory setting this master code is not working please help me to retrieve my phone master code so that i can reset my phone.

isn't that after you generate the master code must key in that to the security/lock code field? or where? coz i tried keying the master code on the lock code field it says "CODE ERROR" what that means? i want to reset the lock code for my phone. who can help me out?
