    MSConfig Cleanup

MSConfig Cleanup is an ideal complement to MSConfig, a standard tool that is already included with Windows, and it allows you to enable or disable the programs and services scheduled to run to start the operating system.

The problem is that MSConfig does not completely eliminate those programs, and that is where MSConfig Cleanup is useful. This program allows you to remove those entries that have already been deactivated in MSConfig, in a simple and final.

Easy to use and very efficient in their task.

The program is fine but lacks ease that is becoming one of the things off. Program a day that is capable of recomending off many of the boot options.

what I was looking for a program that allowed me to clean the msconfig. In the same way that the msconfig, you indicate the location of each element of inicial.en.

Need help with MsCleanup - I dl'd and installed the app and when I run it I do not get a list of the startup items that appear in in msconfig? Under the Application heading all I see is an unchecked box but no items listed?

What am I doing wrong. I have Win XP SP3 installed. Can anyone help?

To resolve this issue, in Add/Remove Windows Components, remove Accessories and then add it again. To remove Accessories, follow these steps:
In Control Panel, start Add or Remove Programs.
In the left pane, click Add/Remove Windows Components.
In the Components box, click Accessories and Utilities, and then click Details.
Click to clear the Accessories check box, click OK, and then click Next.
    Click Finish.

To add Accessories again, follow these steps:
In Control Panel, start Add or Remove Programs.
In the left pane, click Add/Remove Windows Components.
In the Components box, click Accessories and Utilities, and then click Details.
Click to select the Accessories check box, click OK, and then click Next.
    Click Finish.

Tried your suggestion and followed it step by step but when I opened MSConfig Cleanup there was no change - just an empty list window under Application with an unchecked selection box.

    Wonder what is the problem?
