    eBoostr

eBoostr is similar ReadyBoost which brings up the Windows Vista. Its function is to create a "Ram Memory" if you can even use a Pendrive as Ram. By using a USB, you can create an extra cache, with which your PC function with superior performance.

You can use any USB removable hard disk, even an iPod. The more GB have your device, the transfer rates will be higher.

The eBoostrâ„¢ trial version has no expiration time, can be assessed and that so long as you want. However, the demo is fully functional only for 4 hours after each boot. This allows you to assess and estimate how the product is carried out in their configuration. Get it at eBoostr.

I need a consultation. If I have a MP4 (2Gb to be more precise), but things have been stored in it,
    1. Can I put it for work as detailed although part of it is in use?

    2. Is there any risk of washing out data during use?

More than anything because...besides music and videos, the things that I have in it are really important and would cause a serious problem if it is erased.

That has maximum capacity to adapt the device? Obviously USB device will not have the same performance that a ram itself but the more it puts more is assimilated.

    Eg: 2gb USB = 1gb RAM

Thanks XDRoX, but the most important thing is that I asked you to clarify whether there is a risk that things get erased. Because that is basic...if there is a risk I can not do it. Because they are things that I have saved and if any problems occurs, I would die.

A similar doubt was aroused by Sid-O and the topic was discussed by many. I think reading this discussion will help you in some or other way. Read this discussion Using Pendrives for RAM.
