    How to clear Web Browser Cache

    Clear Internet Cache
    The internet cache accounts of space on the hard drive as you pass on the web. To not reach saturation of this space, you have to empty the cache, by deleting it.


    For Mozilla / Seamonkey
    You go to:
    • Edit
    • Preference
    • Advanced
    • Cache
    • Empty the cache
    • OK


    For Firefox
    You go to:
    • Tools
    • Clear My Tracks
    • Just check except passwords recorded
    • OK


    For Internet Explorer 7
    You go to:
    • Tools
    • Internet Options
    • Tab "General"
    • Remove
    • At the bottom, remove all
    • [tick]
    • OK


    For Internet Explorer 6
    You go to:
    • Tools
    • Internet Options
    • Tab "General"
    • Delete files ... [tick]
    • OK


    For Opera
    You go to:
    • Tools
    • Preferences
    • Tab "Advanced"
    • Heading "History"
    • Click on "Empty Now" matching "Disk Cache"

    Manage cookies

    The cookies are trademarks of your passage on websites. Some of them only store the password and login corresponding to a site while others record more information, usually your preferences connection and / or references billing (addresses, telephone, e-mail. .. etc ...).

    For security, you can erase those traces. Nevertheless, it may be advisable to keep cookies frequently visited sites for faster navigation. In the latter case, the choice to destroy cookies must be done one by one.

    For Mozilla:
    You go to:
    • Edit
    • Preference
    • Privacy
    • Cookies
    • See cookies.
    • Therefore (valid e-mail and browser):

    1. either delete all the cookies,
    2. either delete the cookie.


    For Firefox:
    You go to:
    • Tools
    • Options
    • Privacy
    • Cookies
    • Show Cookies.
    • Therefore:

    1. either delete all the cookies,
    2. either delete the cookie.


    For Opera:
    You go to:
    • Tools
    • Preferences
    • Tab "Advanced"
    • Heading "Cookies"
    • Click on "Manage cookies"
    • Therefore, you remove one after the other cookies for your delete


    For Internet Explorer:

    1 - Removing bulk
    You go to:
    • Tools
    • Internet Options
    • Delete Cookies


    2 - Remove case by case
    You go to your workstation:
    • C drive
    • Documents and Settings
    • "the name of your pc"
    • cookies


    You will see a list of cookies:
    • select
    • delete


    Complements
    The software CCleaner is also able to empty the cache on the different browsers (IE, Opera, Firefox ...)
