Problem Loading Yahoo Messenger

While a friend is trying to DL Yahoo Messenger for her job(likely to talk with boss), she tried to DL it several times on Win7(laptop) and XP(desktop) and gets "installation unsuccessful" message. Any idea what is at play here? She was wondering if 32/64 bit app's has anything to do with it. For me, I am beyond perplexed as to why it would not work and really have no clues. Thats why I'm going to the bullpen on this.

You will need to delete all Yahoo messenger software from the registry editor in your computer first and to do that download a program called Ccleaner. Once you have uninstalled all the remains of yahoo messenger from your computer then you can try to install it again and check if this time the installation goes successfully or not.
