    What is Google's Knowledge Graph

Few days ago, Google has upgraded its search engine in order to provide more better and accurate search results with sets of associated facts and the search results are mostly within the greater understanding of queries. And Google has named it as a Knowledge Graph. It seems somewhat like Facebook's social graph where you can get set of associated data about people and their friends. In order to provide specific results over specific query, Google has invented this new search technique in the name of knowledge Graph. It is obvious that Google is bringing something new to its search engine to provide better experience to the user. I just know this much of information but does anyone know actually what is the intention of this innovative knowledge graph other than what I have explained.

Re: What is Google's Knowledge Graph

The Knowledge Graph means that certain queries can now be able to generate some set of facts that may be displayed separately on the right-hand side sidebar panel. It will just contain an overview of the query which you have entered in the search box. You will also get expected search results list. For example if you search for a famous actor, scientist or your favorite player, the query will return a Wikipedia summary on the right hand which will contain small summary, dates of birth, about their family, their favorites or name of their spouse and children and all other searches associated. Also you will get few related person images below it. So you don’t need to open the Wikipedia page everytime just to get overview of the query which you are searching for. Google's growing understanding is meant for what users deem to be relevant.

Re: What is Google's Knowledge Graph

Google has always been one step ahead of what users usually think because it always thinking one step ahead and it will maintain its criteria in that manner forever to compete with other Search Engines which still are not able to make a stand in front of the Google. Whenever you enter a keyword or set of keyword, the Knowledge Graph tries to figure out what actually the user is searching for. The Knowledge Graph has the capability to read the keyword or data as a user and reply with almost accurate result. First of all the Search engine tries to figure out the most important and related things about the keyword. It could be in any format and any kind of details. But when a keyword implies to multiple meaning, Knowledge Graph knows to ask what you meant. Google is now very much experienced in answering questions and it does know better what to reply. It acts like very natural now. Instead of simply throwing number of unnecessary pages, the search engine tries to give something that user really wanted. Google could potentially pull relevant information from the web. It has developed Knowledge Graph for mobile devices also.

Re: What is Google's Knowledge Graph

Google’s initial implementation of Knowledge Graph is meant for improving the existing search results listings. Few months ago Google had started preview of pages in a panel to the right side of search results on same Web browser window. Now the Knowledge Graph results placed on its panels on the right hand side of the search results. The fact is you will not get the Knowledge Graph for all queries. The Queries should match well-defined objects in the Knowledge Graph. The Knowledge Graph displays a summary of key which makes that person significant. It provides only key information which users usually are looking for and for first before going through. Now it can also handle disambiguation.

Knowledge Graph has been developed and programmed to make use of more than 3.5 billion different attributes. With the help of this, now search engine can properly organize results, and due to this, search queries can group results according to various alternative interpretations. It is a summary box with key information such as about some prominent people, well known place and any famous keyword.

Re: What is Google's Knowledge Graph

Google outlines 3 major advantages to this advancement.
    1. Find the right thing
    2. Acquire the best summary
    3. Fetch deeper and broader

Due to this new approach I think that now, Google will win most of its battles (and definitely the war) with other search engines. The new technique is somewhat related to the humanly relevant idea. Google will now be able to understand the customer’s or user’s deepest needs on what he/she is searching for and what they need exactly. For this reason the Knowledge Graph is so much exciting. It fills our information with refreshment rather than needless things.
