Windows Live Essentials 2011 QFE3 (build: 15.4.3555.0308) Update is available, what are the changes

Few days I have read news about Update to Windows Live Essentials 2011 QFE3 (build: 15.4.3555.0308). This update was released very recently from Microsoft and it is available to download for all. Does anyone had installed this update? What are the major changes included in this update? Is it the mandatory update for all users who are using Windows Live?

Microsoft is about to issue the next update of Windows Live Essentials 2011 this week, which as you all know is a free suite that users can use Microsoft Windows. Hopefully, we can enjoy new features such as optimization tools, comprehensive reporting format using Windows Live Mail SSL, improved taskbar Bing, and above all, improvements in Windows Live Messenger, and photo gallery and the resolution of known issues.

Does anyone know where I can find the option to choose either to update or install Windows live Essentials 2011 update?

In my case, the system has automatically downloaded the updates and it happened without my permission. Also users are complaining about that they are losing all their default contacts list which they have stored in Windows Live Mail and this crisis has happened only after the update.

Microsoft has released an update for Windows Live Essentials 2011. It fixes several bugs and improves the performance of the software package. The update adds support for SSL encrypted HTTP (HTTPS) connections in mail and a new version of the Bing Toolbar. In addition to mail, fixed a problem with the sorting of messages in the folder "Sent Items". According to the Microsoft Messenger now works more reliably and has a better voice and video quality. The face detection is now more stable. The software vendor has the new version of the photo gallery removed a total of several errors, including when the application starts the AutoPlay feature. In addition to Windows Live Essentials 2011 Microsoft has also updated the Outlook connector for Hotmail. Now it is also capable to encrypt all connections to the e-mail service with HTTPS. The SSL encryption is also available as an option for all access to Hotmail.com and Live.com, or Windows PC via phone and Nokia smartphone. You can activate the Windows Live account settings.
