| Red x on some photographs on facebook
I am not able to make out what actually the issue is. Please help me out of this. The only thing I could notice common in all these images is that the addresses of these images had xx. Photos address. |

Let me know if it works; Might turn useful for others. |

Please try changing the browser or the computer. Just as a diagnostic media to find out where the issue exactly is. |

Also, if these photos are uploaded by you, please delete them and reinstall. What happens is, there is a pointer to the location of the image. Sometimes, the image is not correctly uploaded and the location remains empty. The empty location is indicated by a red ‘x’ which is nothing but a default view. |

| Re: Red x on some photographs on facebook None of these worked. I do understand that a red ‘x’ denotes an empty location. But what I am wondering is, if one image can be located why not the other. And yeah, the issue is not only with the images I uploaded. The updates that come on our wall when someone else uploads the image also show the same problem. |

| Re: Red x on some photographs on facebook
It is an http/https issue which has occurred because of some internal changes on the site. The problem is, if facebook doesn’t load as https (secure site) the photos cannot be viewed and appear as blank pages or the ‘x’ that you were talking about. The ‘xx’ peculiarity in the address that you were talking about is an indication to this change. The issue will soon be resolved by facebook itself. What you are facing now is nothing but transitional problems. Keep patience for now. |
