    After downloading Safari 5.2.1 got ‘Command-a stopped working’ pop up

    Recently I have downloaded Safari 5.2.1 on my computer. after doing that I got command-a stopped working in the Safari window. Any help to fix the matter will be appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

    Very first thing I wanted to tell you over here is that you should clear the Safari Cache.
    • Close Safari if you have already opened.
    • Now browse to ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db.
    • You have to move Cache.db file to Trash.
    • Once you have done you should restart Safari and see whether it is making any difference.

    I think you will need to reset Safari.

    • From the Safari menu bar you have to click on Safari and click on Reset Safari.
    • Now choose top 5 buttons in order to click on Reset.
    • Finally you should relaunch Safari and see whether it is working or not
    .

    There could be an issue with the user account which you are having on your system. I recommend that you should create a new account and let me know about the result.
