How to remove ads from Gmail in Opera

I use hosts file in order to remove general ad and also add from the Gmail. I also using the ‘remove Gmail ads' extension I got from the Opera extensions. This extension is very helpful to remove banner ads but it cannot able to remove header and footer ads. It seems like they are persistent. Do you think that I need to wait for updated extension?

Gmail that gives you the option to disable the ads in your inbox. But there is a third-party solution that combines GreaseMonkey (for Firefox) and a script called Windows Live Ad Remover user script . If you have Opera, you can install the script in Opera .

Did you think that there was an option for Opera?

Like YouTube Ad Blocker & Remover, works flawlessly on YouTube, and so does everywhere else, but somewhat less efficient. It is the best resource for those who use Opera as default. Opera brings the option of locking elements, but must do it manually, and is somewhat tedious.
