windows live mail login problems since Iphone set up

Since i set up my Iphone 4s with me email, whenever i go into my windows livemail on my laptop it asks for my user name and password - I have entered numerous times (deff correctly!) but it still doesnt work and keeps asking for them. Why is this, any ideas please

If you have set up 2 step verification on your account, then go back the email that was sent to you and follow the instructions in it for setting up Application Specific Passwords for your clients and other devices. If you have not, then you probably just need to clear the Captcha to reverify the account info.

Hi sorry im bit of techno phobe. Im not sure what a 2 step verification is - I have been into my email settins and cant see anything like this and I didnt get an email about the other bit you mentioned. Any other help very much appreciated

Even i used to face the same problem, and what i found was that actually, you have to log out of Hotmail properly each time you are done with emailing. Otherwise you will have to clear your cookies and cache again and then try to login to the windows live mail and check if that works out for you or not.
