‘Television fanatic plugin’ in Safari 5.1 upgrade preventing me to lunching browser

I have upgraded Safari 5.1. there was television fanatic plugin which is coming along with the upgraded version of Safari 5.1. I am suspecting that due to that particular plugin I was not able to launch Safari on my computer. is there any appropriate solution to troubleshoot the above mentioned issue? any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

The above mentioned plugin is junk you have to get rid out of that. It is located at two places Hard Drive/Library/Internet plug-ins folder and other location is Library/Internet plugins into the user folder.
You have to trash plug-in to resolve the issue which you are getting.

If you are not able to get an option to uninstall then you will need to quit Safari and manually remove the third party add on installed on your computer.

/Library/InputManagers/
/Library/ScriptingAdditions

The above mentioned four location are listed in root-level Library which located on hard disk and not user-level Library located at the Home folder.

~/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/
~/Library/Input Methods/
~/Library/InputManagers/
~/Library/ScriptingAdditions

tilde (~) represents the Home folder on the above mentioned location.

I am running Snow Leopard.

I went to Macintosh and gone for Library and click on Application Support.

Here I got television fanatic bundle. I moved it to desktop and restarted Safari on my system.

It worked fine so deleted from the desktop permanently.

Looking at the matter I recommend following solution which you can try.
You have to look for the below mentioned preferences files

/Users/your username/Library/Preferences/com.apple.safari.plist
/Users/your username/Library/Safari

Once you have got you have to move the same to desktop. After that restart browser.
As you launch browser Preference file will be automatically gets created.
If everything working fine then remove Preference file from the system.
