Getting "DNS lookup failed" error message on Google Chrome

Hello i have installed the Google Chrome on mine system and everything on the system working fine without any issue but recently when i open some website on the Google Chrome i get the error message saying that:"DNS lookup failed". now i dont what to do and how to solve this issue, can anyone suggest on this issue and so that i can solve mine issue. thanks in advance...

i have tried to disable the firewall using the Google Chrome on your system. so if you have enabled the Firewall on your system and then i would like to suggest you to disabled the firewall on your system and after that make sure your getting the issue or not.

just try to do this command on your system and then you can solve your issue. to do this you need to go through the below steps: first open the command prompt and under that type the below command;

ipconfig /flushdns
net stop "dns client"
net start "dns client"

now once you done reboot the system and then make sure your getting the issue or not.

if above all solution not working to solve your issue and then i would like to suggest you to uninstall the Google chrome and install it again. even i have faced this issue on mine system and after that i have reinstalled the Google chrome on mine system and i have solved mine issue.

hi i just got a second hand dell optiplex gx620 with windows xp on and its on a wired internet connection and it worked fine for a day but then stopped i am not very techie so when i got unable to reslove the servers dns address i was puzzled i dont know what this means my other pc works fine so i am at a loss at what to do next i looked on some forums but dont really get what is being said [techie words] this is a read out if it helps.- Host Name . . . . . . . . . . . . : home-615396691d
