Firefox Back/Forward Gesture not working on Mac OS X Lion

I used Back/Forward Gesture on my safari browser with the Mac OS X Lion system and it works fine. while when i try to use the same Back/Forward Gesture in firefox browser, it doesn't work. How can i fix this problem. I want to get this gestures in my firefox because i have habit to use such gestures for accessing fast internet on safari browser. Can anyone describe more things about it. Thanks.

Previous days such gestures missing on firefox but now it works fine. Now you can insert such gestures by opening System Preferences-> Trackpad-> More Gestures. Make sure "Swipe between pages" is checked. If not check it. It works to provide you gestures on your firefox browser. Hence use it and check its output.

Firefox 9 provides new two-finger gestures on Mac OS X Lion. Such gestures is being as Swipe left to go forward a page and Swipe right to go back a page. use it and i think this gestures compatible to run with the trackpad or Magic Mouse. Hence if you are not using firefox 9, update firefox to ff9. Then its well for you.
