Reliance net connect not working with windows 7

Previously I was using Windows XP operating system on my laptop. But now I had upgraded to Windows 7. After upgrade I started facing a few problem in it. I am not able to connect to internet through Reliance net connect usb modem. This was working well before on my Windows XP system but now this is giving me hard time on Windows 7. I want some help to install the same.

There must be a problem of the driver of the usb modem of reliance net connect that is why you are facing the issue. Here you can try to download the latest driver which is compatible with windows 7 operating system and then test the same. I am quiet sure that will work and will offer you a proper connectivity. For more details you can go on the official site of usb dongle provider and there you can locate proper working drivers. If the drivers are not available then this modem is not going to work with Windows 7.

• A window appears, click Hardware then Device Manager.

Hello, yes reinstalled the usb modem driver, which has not changed ... I ended up out my installation CD, and make an "upgrade" ... I do not understand how windows 7 Pro can be upgraded to Windows 7 pro but hey, that to walk by I do not know what a miracle ... Big disappointment for Windows 7 so far.

I had same problem, was getting " Remote Connection manager is not initiated in time" meassage, whenever trying to use "Reliance Net Connect".....

here is the solution:

1. go to "Run" from Start
2. type "services.msc"
3. All service will open
4. Look for "Remote Connection manager" service, check the status
5. it should "Automatic", if not change to automatic
6. Try to use "Reliance Net Connect"...better to restart, if doesn't work.
