    Unidentified network-no internet access! :(

I was on my router and I changed the MTU settings from 1492 to 1500 now my laptop won't let me access the Internet. I had this before but I saw a thread which helped resolved it Ive forgotten how to get it working again

I think that you will have to reset the router and change the settings of the MTu back to what it was on which the internet was working fine. What is the make or model of the router that you have? Click on the WAN (or ATM) button from the left vertical menu. Find the "MTU" towards the bottom, enter your desired MTU value (usually 1500, or 1492 for PPPoE) in the text field, and click Apply. The router will restart to apply the new settings.
