Currently I am running a forum which is on my sub domain. Now luckily there is an option to encompass my personal domain name. Furthermore i require recognizing if it?s worth getting it. Will it put together my website easier to discover by the use of Google Search?

Re: Does a own Domain Name make your website more visible

Each domain name is Google in a category. Because you now have a subdomain name Google sees your site as a page Webklik and places the website in the "website" category *. It is difficult to use your subdomain name in the high end results, for example the keyword "Dog house" than with a real domain name. With its own domain you will also have their own ranking and will be placed in the category that fits the site.

The categories are not as abstract as this example suggests.

The domain name meets the criteria of communication. Founding pillar of the URL, it is also used in the classification criteria and relevance to the engines. Remember to incorporate keywords.

Fortunately, everyone does not try to make the same domain name (in one letter) to reach a high in the engines, it could quickly give a zero relevance to the results. The first thing to do might be to optimize the content of the pages to provide a real service to users and get "qualified visitors." Indeed we see here that the major PR does not need this trick to be very well positioned.

Having a domain name approach that works fine can lead to a lot of benefits, counting augmented traffic as well as sales to your site. There are presently 1.6 billion users worldwide, this number is continuously growing. An excellent domain name approach will permit companies to get bigger their marketing campaigns and increase their traffic and number of sales. Google shows favoritism in its ranking for the domain names that contain keywords, it is well known in the world of SEO. If your domain name is similar or exact keyword search, the chances for this site to rank well are very high. Google seems to deliberately foster this kind of technique.

Re: Does a own Domain Name make your website more visible

A personal domain name is a definite plus for your Search Engine Optimization but if you have not used an NDD staff from the start of the blog you may encounter some difficulties in the future. Google and all the other little robots do not like too many blogs that use a domain name "public" meaning that anyone can have a site with that URL.

Re: Does a own Domain Name make your website more visible

Choosing a domain name is important; it can allow you to key words inside. The key to optimization is to place keywords in the domain name. Beware, if you own a company, as a matter of branding, it must obviously be taken as the domain name of your company. However, nothing prevents you from creating a second site, optimized for search engines, with a domain name with keywords inside.

Re: Does a own Domain Name make your website more visible

Link building SEO is important, because the more websites link to your website link, the more important your site is in the eyes of Google. Many backlinks from websites with high popularity and a relevant issue for Google is a sign that something interesting is mentioned on your website. Therefore, Google cannot but your website higher in search results position. When the content of your website are the keywords of particular importance. Make sure all words related to the products or services you offer on your Web pages are actually listed. Maintaining an attractive domain name and build backlinks with proper anchor text provides a lot more than the supposed magical toprankings who are envisaged by the topic starter.

While this may seem a trivial task, most people often forget all the options and variables to consider when making that decision, relying more on what they like or which they feel good rather than what actually may be your best marketing investment.
