Netflix is not responding after a firmware update on sony google tv

My friend has a Google TV. It has some issue with Netflix. It was working fine. He received some updates on on the TV and he installed that. After that the streaming thing is so slow. I had tried to check the settings which look fine. But Netflix is not working. It is not giving out a constant streaming output. I had tried to reset the setting also but still it is not working.

There are few things you have to see. First check the dns service. You can find that in the modem or router where the Tv is connected. You can find reset those settings in the TV itself. It will be better if you try using the manual. It will give you a bit more detail output on troubleshooting this kind of streaming problems. You can also contact Netflix customer to get this issue fixed. There can be problem from their side also.

You have to start first with factory settings. I had seen this problem on Apple TV also. You can go in the settings and run a full factory reset. This will revert the old settings back. Turn off the tv for sometime and then turn it on back again. See whether it is able to properly initialize or not. If nothing works then the last thing left is to call a technician for the help.
