Best way to use Google Alerts?

Hello all.

I was just curious to see the best way to keep track of all Google Alerts and Twitter Alerts. I have them set to go to my email right now, and that's just flooding my inbox too much. Anyone have a better strategy? I know that reader is an option - I'm just afraid I'll miss something.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you for reading.

You can use Google Alerts for sms as well, I have selected some of its vital alerts for news related to sports, new game releases, tech news, stock news and many more. And I get alerts for same via sms but not through email which might be a paid one. Also, you can disable it anytime you want it to and similarly re-enable it on your wish.

Wow, I didn't even know that was an option (SMS). Thanks so much for the feedback, I'll definitely try it out.
