Hello everyone I have installed the windows XP on mine system and I have working without any issue. Recently I have just installed the steam on mine system and everything under that working perfect without any issue. Last night before I have play Left 4 Dead on my PC and after that when I have tried to restarted the system and after that when I tried to login into steam I have got the message saying that:” Connecting to steam account”. This massage went to till 30 minutes but after that also I am not able to login. Can anyone suggest on this issue and so that I can solve mine issue.

I would like to suggest you the following steps and after that your able login your account and to do this you need to rename one file: first go to the below location: C:\Program Files\Steam (or the Steam directory that was specified during installation). No once you locate here and after that look for the ClientRegistry.blob and after that make right click on the ClientRegistry.blob file and after that rename it as ClientRegistryOld.blob. Now once you done and after that reboot the system and after that go through your issue.

According to me third party software were interfering to your login and first of all I would like to suggest you to disable the third party software like antivirus which are installed on your system and after that firewall etc. First disable the all third party software and after that try to login into steam and after that go through your issue. if your enable the third party software and after that these third party software will not allow to lunch or run the game on the steam.
