Unable to open or view PDF files on Mozilla Firefox 5

I have installed the windows XP on mine system and under that I have also installed the Mozilla Firefox 5 on mine system and I have recently updated this. Everything on the system working fine without any issue but I have small issue on mine Firefox 5 and that mine Firefox 5 not opening any PDF files and I not bale view PDF file on mine system. I have tried the lots of solution to solve this but none of them helped me to solve mine issue. Now I don’t know what to do, can anyone suggest on this issue and so at I can solve mine issue.

Hello I have faced the same issue on mine system as well and so I would like to suggest you to make sure that what reader plug-in are you using to view PDF's and I think you are not install the reader plug-in to view PDF's. If you don’t install the reader plug-in and then I would like to suggest you to install the reader plug-in to view the PDF and after that let me know the issue. I hope this will solve your PDF issue on your system.

I would like to suggest update the Firefox 5 and after that let me know the issue. I think you have not properly installed the update and so therefore I would like to suggest you to make check for the update and if you get the update and after that install it on your system and after that go through your issue. To update your Firefox 5 you need to go through the following steps: first open the Firefox and after that make click on the tools and under that make click on the options. Now on the option go to the go to the advance and under that make click on the update tab. Now on the update tab make check for the update and after that install it.

I think you have wrongly updated the Firefox and so I would like to suggest you to install the Firefox again and after that let me know the issue. To uninstall your Firefox you need to go through the following steps, first make click on the start icon and after that click on the control panel. Now on the control panel go to the add/remove program and under that locate to the Firefox and after that make click on that and then uninstall it. Now once you do that and after that install the Firefox again and after that let me know the issue.

i have faced the same issue on mine system as well and i have tried the lots of solution to solve this issue and i have found that the Content Length having issue with it. so i would like to suggest you to delete the Content Length and after that you the below header and after that let me know the issue:
* Content-Type: application/x-download
* Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="FILENAME"
* Cache-Control: private, max-age=0, must-revalidate

Hello even I have got the same issue but none of them helped me to solve mine issue and finally I have used another web browser and after that I have solved mien issue and so I would like to suggest you to use some other browser like internet explorer, opera, safari etc which will enable you to view the PDF files. I hope this will help you. These all browser are for free and without any cost you can install it.
