    How to Reset firefox?

    Hello,

    I read on a site to restore Firefox should do:

    "Start -> Run, type firefox-safe-mode"

    But for me it does not, it reopens a window Firefox normal with my startup pages.

    I have done because I have a problem with QuickTime ), I have not managed to resolve.

    Hi,

    Follow the steps below:

    • Click on Start / Run
    • Enter the following command:
      "firefox -safe-mode firefox-safe-mode"

    • In the interface that opens, select "preferences Reset to default Firefox"
    • Click on "Make the changes and restart "

    I've tried clicking "Run" then typing "firefox-safe-mode" but keep getting "Windows cannot find firefox-safe-mode". How can this be resolved? Thanks in advance!

    Have you tried to open to Safe Mode by using the command line?

    ◦"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -safe-mode

    Copy paste the above lines in command prompt and it might work for you.
