Safari remembers password but Firefox 5 can’t.

Hey everyone I am using Firefox since1 years, it was an awesome experience work on the Firefox recently Firefox launched the latest version of the Firefox that is 5 and I downloaded it from internet but it does not save my password but safari browser saves the password easily so please tell me the procedure to save password in the firefox, thus anyone has the same glitch, need suggestion. Thank you

I suggest you the stepwise procedure to the stepwise procedure to save password is as follows:
i) firstly start your Firefox 5 browser.
ii) Then put the web address in the address bar of the Firefox.
iii) Then you are connected to your desired web site which you want to surf.
iv) After that put username and password in the desired field on the web site.
v) After completing above process Firefox ask you to save your password.
vi) Then click on the remember option to remember your password and username after clicking on the option your password will be remembered.

I will prefer you the step by step procedure to remember password in Firefox 5.
i) First close your Firefox 5 browser.
ii) After that open a text editor.
iii) Then open the naLoginManagerprompter.js this file is located in the Firefox main directory
iv) After that go to Show Save Login Notification function and everything between lines 642 to711
v) Or instead of that line no. replace that section by
Var pwmgr=this_pwmgr;
pwmgr.addlogin (aLogin);
vi) After that save the file and open your Firefox browser.

iii) then go to the options .
iv) select the security tab.
v)then select the remember passwords for sites.
