Difference between https everywhere and host file

Hi, with the free of Facelift if I as a final point require utilizing https where ever it is possible to use. I hoped for some option within Firefox to always use https when avi. But I could not get any. So if tested out the add-ons and the only one I got was "https everywhere". The weird thing is, you cannot download it from the official add-ons.mozilla.com site. That’s why how consistent and secure is it?

Re: Difference between https everywhere and host file

I am telling you that the hosts file DNS only deals, or look for the device addresses by name. Facebook.com is the same place, no matter what. HTTP requests only on port 80 and port 443 is https. That said, given that PF is behind this extension, I would say it is perfectly safe and probably the best solution. The EFF is very reliable. So you can learn about the more with more exploration on this topic. Bye the way topic is too broad so you should learn in detail through the internet.

If you have the option to allow favorites, but not the story, I suggest you complain / look elsewhere. Or put shortcuts in the start menu or desktop, or that there are many ways to have "favorites." But I, if ever used as an extension, ask the developer for this function. I hope that you will get some help with my reply. Above post is right suggesting you should learn in detail about this topic. And also you can follow the above post. Because this topic is very good. Here is not possible to get in detail.

I am telling you that about the http and ftp file. HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) and FTP (File Transfer Protocol) are just two of the many protocols used on the Internet, every with its own function. The use of HTTP is to serve as a gateway to the World Wide Web. Websites are accessed via HTTP with the assist of browsers. FTP, as its name implies, is utilized to transfer files from one computer to another. It is a well-liked protocol unless the little number of people who actually use FTP, and even fewer people who know they are utilizing it.
