Recover chat history on Skype.

Hey I am using Skype since 6 months and it is an awesome experience I ever got before because it provides free pc to pc calling to worldwide others are also provides free calling facility with best sound quality I downloaded the new version of the Skype. it works good for 2 to 3 days and I wanted to manage my chat history in the Skype so please anyone tell me the procedure save chat history ,thus anyone has the same glitch. Thank you

Hey I suggested you the following procedure to recover chat history as follow:
i) Firstly close your Skype application then click on the exit on task bar.
ii) Then go to old OS primary drive to access your Skype chat history :
D:\Users \Username\ AppData\Roaming\SkypePM
D:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Skype
iii) Then copy the old chat log to the new folder:
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\SkypePM
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Skype
Please make sure that if you copy over the old log files to new folder then recent history will be deleted.

you can recover your history in windows xp using following steps:
i)firstly locate the following folder :”Application Data\Skype\<your desired user name> and copy it to another location such as CD or DVD RAM.
ii) to restore the history copy these files to the new folder.
iii)that files are stored in the .dbb files and can only be read b read with Skype itself.

I insist you the following procedure:
i) firstly go to My computer then browse for the Cocuments and Setting \<specific user name>\ApplicationData\Skype
ii) then copy all files paste it in the safe location.
iii)now your desired backup is completed.
iv)when you start restoring the chat history you must sign out the application and close the application .
v)then browse the following folder:
C:\Documents and Setting\<windows user name>\Application Data\Skype.
vi) after that copy all the folders we backed up earlier and paste it in the given location.afterthat click yes to override files and Folders.
vii)now you have start again the Skype and sign-in to your Skype account.
viii)after that restore process is completed.
