How to Switch from https to http

A couple of questions please. a number of Web applications that make use of https eliminates the "s" and the HTTP connection stays within in anticipation of the end, still subsequent to entering your username and password and enter some other https automatically re even after removing the “s” or you will fail. It is the first scene of bad programming and security. If accordingly, where / how to lock that hole? What you necessitate to reconfigure? What is the technical terminology (ports, files, etc.)?

In the company of Apache you are able to make use of somewhat similar to mod_rewrite on the way to redirect users who demand HTTP pages in the direction of HTTPS equivalent. You be supposed to as well avoid utilizing supreme paths accordingly the site will flow logically at what time using SSL. Within IIS you are able to modify one of the metabase settings, I not remember which. It’s been a long time, in the direction of redirect the user toward the HTTPS equivalent page.

As a guest, you cannot do anything if not met by the web application / server. Some time ago, the Gmail login is requested via HTTPS, at the same time as then back to http. At the moment, you are able to position it to "always https". I mean its awful design, particularly at what time the data is confidential! I made sure all the pages resting on my website with customer information safe. You should make sure that the links that redirect to https when entering http. Can anyone tell me how to do this in Gmail?

Gmail is configured to use the option "Always use https" setting by default, but you can change these settings at any time. Here's a number of background on top of why we do not assemble this option: If you access Gmail through a non-secure Internet connection, similar to a public wireless network or an unencrypted network, your Google account possibly will be additional vulnerable on the way to seizure. Non-secure networks build it simpler used for somebody to imitate you and expand complete access on the way to your Google account.
