IIS URL Rewrite and Silverlight calling the https WCF service

I am having Silverlight application which has been hosted on the ASP.Net which is used to make the call to the WCF. I am looking to make the setup client access policy files for the silverlight which is used to communicate with WCF services. Let me know how can I HTTP calls on the Silverlight to work with URL rewrites? Let me know if you are having the same problem which you can use to fix the matter of yours. Thanks a lot in advance.

Looking at the problem which you have mentioned over here I recommend following thing which you should try to fix the matter of yours. well I am suggesting that you should enable the Failed Request Tracing to see how it is used to rewrite the rules which can be applied to request the URL. So you should try the thing which I have mentioned over here I am hoping that it would be useful to get the requirement of yours.

If you wanted to use the Failed Request Tracing to the Trace Rewrites Rules then you should have the following the thing.
    • You should have the IIS 7.0 with the ASP.net and you have to see that Tracing role service enabled.
    • Also you have to see that you are having the URL Rewrite Go Live is installed on the system of yours.

So you should get the above mentioned thing I am hoping that it would be useful to you.

Well looking at the situation which you have mentioned over here you have to enable the failed request tracing for the Default Web Site. Once you have created the failed request tracing you have to create the FRT rule for the tracing events to specify the URL rewrite module. If there is any issue then Rewrite Area into the Trace Provider might be missing. If you unable to get the Rewrite area then you might need to repair the rewrite module installer.
