What you think about iCloud and Google Chrome

How do you feel about the idea operating systems that work from the internet. Recently Apple has provided an new service called as iCloud. This service allows you to have your entire files with web browsers, games, chat client, etc inside an single web browser. I want some experienced used and shared on the same. There is surely risk involved in this and what you think about the same. There might powerful servers needed for this to give a regular and uninterrupted services to the multiple users online. Does it is safe to use to keep your confidential data. This question is not just for iCloud. Thanks.

A server is like an car which is parked near the office. What I want to say here is that you have something of your own at a remote location which you can access easily. This really needs a large gigabit power to operate and that is true. So that is really not a easy task to maintain. I had tested iCloud and found it much basic. There is not really much provided but that is considerable at the level of development of cloud computing.

iCloud woks more smoothly on Chrome. There is no other browser that can provide you such a smooth work. You just need to create a free id and done. Login and work on the same. You get an start menu, a word processor, spreadsheet, slideshow, picture manager, etc on the browser itself with 3GB of free storage space. Later on for more you can upgrade to premium membership and done. iCloud is just an much advance and new version of MobileME.

Cloud computing is something based on the use of distributed applications and IT services over a network. This allows you to share and use resources like software, databases for storage or processing power to call if needed. By this there can be major cost cutting in the hardware and software part. In the private sector, cloud computing has now established itself as a keyword. Till now it is referred as Web services that provide online office applications, or services for synchronization and data backup.

There is surely a risk of cloud computing. It is affected by its stability and security. Do you know what actually happens in the network of cloud computing. What I can understand from the basic usage is that the use of cloud computing has a dual problem of ownership. That means ownership of information that is stored in the systems. The benefit is you get an virtual environment and everything on your click. You also need a good bandwidth for that.

Chrome is surely going to be the browser of future and you might not have seen that a number of apps that you can use on Google Chrome. The first thing which most of the users faced is incompatibility with the systems. The issue lies with the data privacy. It is really an issue with the same about private picture and videos and still no company guarantees the privacy. What about the virus and other stuff that you will face on future.

It is extremely important to know the privacy policies of service providers cloud before using its services. There are number of question here. Today iCloud is just an basic service which lets you to store your files on the web server but in future if this grows up and you an support to run applications, to run servers from web then what. Then the major issue that lies is with the security where you don't have any kind of hardware with you. All is virtual.
