Google Chrome gets closed without any warnings or confirmation Window

I have recently installed Google Chrome web browser in my laptop. The web browser is excellent. But yesterday while surfing on internet via Google chrome I came across a strange issue. While surfing I accidently pressed exit button of my Browser and the entire browser was closed without any warning or confirmation window popping up. I had opened multiple tabs in that browser but all the tabs very closed at once. I don’t know the exact cause for this. Is anyone aware about this issue? If yes then please do the needful.

The issue that you have posted seems to be quite interesting. The issue can be due to some internal errors in your Chrome browser. I also faced such issues before but now it has been solved. To overcome this issue I changed my web browser. I installed Mozilla Firefox in my laptop. After that I never faced such issues. My new browser used to always display a warning or confirmation window whenever I press exit button to close the browser. I think you should try this out and inform me about the consequences.

Thanks a lot for your suggestions that you gave me to overcome my issue. As you advised me to install new browser, I did that but nothing changed. I was still facing the same issue. My new browser also gets closed if I press the exit button without any warning or confirmation window popping up. So I uninstalled the new browser. Are you aware about some settings in Chrome browser to overcome such issues? If yes then please inform me about it.

By default Chrome browser always warns the user when they are attempting to close the browser with multiple tabs opened in it. But it is not working in your case. It can be due to a checkbox having check mark in it which says something like”disable the warning or confirmation Window”. Try to find such options in your Google Chrome settings remove the check mark from there if it is checked. After that perform one more modification in your Chrome Browser, the modification are specified as follows:
Click no wrench icon usually at the top of the Chrome browser-> go to options-> in the basic tab under “On Startup”-> click on the option “Reopen the pages that were open last”.
After you perform these modifications, if in future your Browser gets closed without any warnings then it is not a big issue because the tabs that were opened in it before getting closed will be automatically saved. You can get those tabs back when you open your browser next time

I performed all the modifications that you specified. And now my issue is solved but not completely. I was not able to find any options in my Chrome browser to enable the warning or confirmation window. But with the help of the other settings that you specified I am able to get all those tabs that I had opened before the browser was closed. I am very grateful to you for the advice that you gave me to overcome my issue.
