should i go for the t1 connection, is t1 worth it?

i have been using the internet connection for quite a long time now and tried testing it with the speedtest.net there are many servers i tested my connection from and was able to find out that if i connect through a server at San Francisco, CA USA the relay delay is about 20 meter per second and if i do the same test from Modesto, CA USA the delay the hikes to over 96 meters per second, then i tried doing the same from Boston, MA USA and that is when i found out that the delay was more than 196 meters per second. so this is a big problem for me as i use the servers which are in Boston and then i came to know about the t1 connection so i have found a solution to pay for the connection by splitting the total cost but i still need to clear out weather i should go for it or not.

my first question for you will be how much is it costing you? and what makes you so sure that the t1 internet connection will be sufficient for you. for connecting to boston servers. and also what speed are we talking about for the internet connection. and are you talking about the burstable t1 or the flat rate one. have you found out all about the connection.let me make it simpler for you if you go for the Burstable T1 it costs less and you get a good bandwidth. but the cost depends on the downloads.

we are using the t1 internet connection at the office which costs every month $1100 and a setup fee of $1000. we only use the connection for our day to day work. but as compared to other connections out there paying this much is to hefty. when you take into consideration the location of the office from the internet service provider server it is just about 1100 meters from it. there are no other service provider in the area so there is no other option for us except for the t1. its sad i know but waiting for some other isp's to come up in this area and provide a cheaper internet connection.

this i the truth what i am going to say even funny for some of you but i do not see any reason as to why pay so much just for an internet connection. yes you need to play on the server but there are alternate solutions to this also. you will need to do this if you want to play on the servers as you said you do. but i do not get the fact if someone is ready to split the cost with you why do you not find people playing what you play in your vicinity itself.

you should try going for a dsnl connection itself because it will prove to be much cheaper for the same bandthwith here you did not write that how much are you paying for your current connection. from that we will come to know what to recommend for you. and also the bandthwith you are using how much is that. there is no reason for any one to pay so much for an internet connection as there are many other kind of lines you can apply for i recommend you to check out other options in your area and then if you are not able to find any solution for it you can go for the above mentioned t1.

what are you going to use this connection for is it a professional use, because if you go for such a costly connection you will be able to pay for it yourself. do go through all the trouble for paying so much just for playing games it make no sense, and by the way the adsl connection is not a very great option as there are many problems with the physical layer of the connection. there are many problems with it so i recommend you to choose some entirely different kind of internet connection.
