| Re: POP3 Email Setup Not working properly Along With The Charters
You have to follow the steps to remove the issue of the character that is being faced by you. You have to ignore what the Charter says the direction is inbound and outbound. Check out the Pop.charter.net and smtp.charter.net that will let you receive when you try to compose, reply, reply all, forward, you get an error and not be quench. And then you have to check out the correct configuration for it that is being given below: Code: Mail Type: POP Incoming mail server: mail.charterinternet.com Username: my username (first part of your e-mail address NOT skip the charter.net) Password: whatever the password to access the email account letter Port: 110 Encryption: None Code: Outgoing mail server: smtp.charterinternet.com Authentication: ON Username: myusername@charter.net (first part of your e-mail address NOT skip the@charter.net) Password: whatever the password to access the email account letter Port: 25 Encryption: none. |

It is said that the new community Motorola Droid long time back was called the Blackberry user. And also the similar settings were done by me which is said to be of the extreme difficulty in setting up my email account Charter. What a great surprise when I found this thread! My problem always is with the outgoing mail server. And now the issue of the outgoing server is being removed from it and the working of the outgoing server is the best for the system that is being used by me. |

I also seem to have the trouble of not getting the emails through my POP account after doing the various setting up for the IMAP account on the Motorola droid. I tried many special things so that the sort of lost track as to where I stand on this point. I think the mobile phone is sending and receiving the emails correctly. During one of the "fix" attempts, you have to change the mobile pop.charter.net entry and exits leave the phone as smtp.charterinternet.com. This seems to be contradictory, confusing and wrong, but you can resolve your online inbox of emails to send and receive on your droid. |
