I am utilizing Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 8. If I run Yahoo Messenger, then I found that there is no text I am capable to observe on the screen. What occurred? It was running fine before I upgraded to Windows 7 from Windows XP. What's incorrect with my system?? I installed it with normal installation. I run the most up-to-date Javascript that I downloaded from Java site. Help me please to resolve this.

The label of the Command Prompt window you opened be supposed to state Administrator: Command Prompt as well as the text to the left of where you enter the command be supposed to state “C:\Windows\system32>”. If the this statement does not match what you are observing when going to Command Prompt as an administrator, the Command Prompt is being opened as a usual user. Attempt turning User Account Control off to observe if you are capable to utilize the commands.

If the above statement matches what you observe when opening the Command Prompt as an administrator, then you may require utilizing the System File Checker (SFC) to observe if it be able to automatically solve any missing system files:
• Press the Start Orb
• Press All Programs
• Press Accessories
• Right press Command Prompt
• Press Run as Administrator
• Press Continue/Yes on the User Account Control
• Enter the command sfc /scannow

The consequences of the scan will be showed once it has completed. Then check to observe if you be able to register jscript.dll utilizing the command in an Administrator Command Prompt. Be confident to contain the results of the SFC scan in your subsequent reply.

Re: Call to DllRegisterServer failed, Error code : 0x80004005

You do not suppose to require disabling UAC to register jscript.dll if your system is functioning properly. Cautiously follow these steps to check if this functionality is effective or not :
• Press Start
• Press All Programs
• Press Accessories
• Right press Command Prompt
• Press Run as administrator
• Press Yes
• Type REGSVR32 JSCRIPT.DLL
• Press Enter on your keyboard
• (a prompt will verify the .dll was registered effectively)

Hope that assists.
