    My RJ-45 Ethernet cable is not working

    Hi
    am using BSNL Broad band connection. i brougt a new Ethernet cable 10 m long. but when i connect to my laptop there is no internet connection. it shows Network cable unplugged. but when i connect BSNL Rj-45 cable , i get internet connection. I had tested my 10 m Ethernet cable in computer store where i bougt the cable, internet connected in their system. pls i help me how to resolve the problem

    This seems to be the issue that Ethernet cable is not supporting your Laptop Lan port and that is why you are not getting network connectivity with the same. I will advise you to first some other Ethernet Cable and see whether this is giving the same behavior or not. it can also be possible that cable gone bad afterword so check it again.
