You open your Internet Explorer browser, and then go to "Tools" and then "Internet Options". Then choose the Advanced tab. Look in the list the "Navigation" Disable "Script Debugger". If this does not help your problem, try to re register the DLL ole32.dll: Click "Start" then "Run" and type the line: regsvr32 ole32.dll and do OK A window will appear confirming that the registration succeeded

Re: Internet Explorer Script Error res://ieframe.dll/preview.js when printing with IE8

By restoring the settings from Internet Explorer 8, you restore as it was when first installed on your PC. This can be useful when parameters changed since the installation cause malfunctions. When you take out your personal settings, a few Web pages may be affected if they utilize cookies, form data, passwords or Web browser add-ons pre-installed. If restore default settings of Internet Explorer does not remove the Favorites, feeds, Web Slices or some other custom settings. Restoring settings from Internet Explorer is an irreversible operation. All your settings will be lost and cannot be recovered. Rather than restore all the settings, it may be preferable to restore specific settings or delete the history of your web pages. For more information, follow the links at the bottom of this topic.

You can easily solve this issue by doing a restore security settings to the default settings. There is a built-in System Restore feature that automatically creates restore points at regular intervals and when applications are added via supported installer methods. Each restore point contains the necessary information needed to restore the system to the chosen system state. This method can be used to recover the system back to a specific state.

The error appears mostly on Internet Explorer when your printer driver is simply out dated. Or due to some issue it is either corrupted or not compatible with existing document. So the first thing you need to do is remove the printer and re-install the same. Update the drivers and then check one more time. Upgrade your existing Internet Explorer version and then try one more time.

Run Internet Explorer under admin rights. There are certain settings or if you are logged in a limited/guest account then you can possibly face this error. To fix this out you need to right click on Internet Explorer and then choose Run as. Then type the admin account information and run IE. There can be certain components also in IE that causes the error. Remove or disable some addons and then check.

Re: Internet Explorer Script Error res://ieframe.dll/preview.js when printing with IE8

The most easy way to fix this error is upgrading Internet Explorer 8 to 9. It will be stopped. This error is associated with some kind of email format which failed to print with IE. The system is not able to find the right script to run the print. So try to print in plain text format instead of html email. Try cleaning Windows temp folder and re-run the print one more time. There is still no exact cause why this error appears.
