How can I uninstall Internet Explorer 9 Beta when its not in Installed Updates list

Hi all, I have a problem and hoping someone can help me with this here. i installed Internet Explorer 9 Beta a long time ago, I always used mozilla firefox. Now there are a couple of university and government websites which need internet explorer. But it has support for internet explorer 8 only, and hence I want to uninstall it so that i could reinstall Internet Explorer 8, which is supported by the sites, but I cannot do it. I couldn't find internet explorer 9 beta in add/remove programs. Can anyone please shed some light?

    Follow this procedure :

Click on START > Control Panel then open Install Programs Uninstall a Program > Uninstall or change a program > check View Installed Updates > Uninstall or Update. In the top right seacrh box type explorer. Now you will get the IE9 as Windows Iinternet Explorer 9. Just right click on it and click Uninstall. After this process completes rebbot your computer or it might not reflect the changes that happened in there. See if this help...

    Just try these steps :

    • Click Start > Control Panel.
    • Under the Programs category click Uninstall a Program
    • Click on "View installed updates".
    • In the list of installed updates, double-click Windows Internet Explorer 9.
    • Click on Yes in the uninstall message box
    • You may be asked for administrator password if you have set password to your admin account.
    • Follow the steps for Internet Explorer 9 uninstallation
    • When the uninstall process finishes, reboot your computer.
    • After you reboot your computer, open Internet Explorer.
    • Click on "About Internet Explorer" from Help menu.
    • If Internet Explorer shows the previous internet explorer that you had, then considered you have uninstalled Internet Explorer successfully.

Re: How can I uninstall Internet Explorer 9 Beta when its not in Installed Updates list

I am noticing some different problem with my Macbook Pro. I am using a wireless network at my friend's place. I have 5 to 15 % packet loss when i'm at my place where i use a netgear router and at my friend's place, it is around 40% packet loss. Even if my macbook wakes up, the problem persists. Now i'm wondering if it is the problem of my airport card or the router i use. Because at a time two router's being at fault is pretty rare. I also have G4 Powerbook which was not having any trouble but now when i'm pinging the router's or other macbook on my same network gives me packet loss...
