I am going to discuss regarding a modify in Internet Explorer 8.0 with respect to a setting linked to security zone known as “Display mixed content”. Now to get you back in Internet Explorer 7 while we open an HTTPS page that has non-safe HTTP content we find to observe a dialog box asking. “This page includes both secure as well as non-secure items. Do you want to show the non secure items”. By pressing Yes, I will inquire it to show the mixed content. To Disable/ Enable/ Prompt the “Display Mixed Content”, press on Tools | Internet Options. In the Internet choices dialog, presses the “Security” tab. choose the zone that you would like to modify the setting for as well as press the “Custom Level” key. In the Settings part, you have to scroll down to the “Miscellaneous” piece.

The cause for the warning is that you are on an SSL-secured (https protocol) page that is affording to load non-SSL (http protocol) content. Somewhat to note is that the dialog does not encounter if you are on an HTTP page as well as you ask for HTTPS URL. HTTPS is an Application Layer protocol that is a mixture of HTTP as well as SSL (Secure Socket Layer) or TLS (Transport Layer Security). HTTPS connections are utilized for safe transfer of data among the website as well as the client. Messages are safe since the HTTP msg is encrypted through SSL or TLS as well as after that sent on the network/internet. While the msg is received through the addressed position, it decrypts the msg. The dialog was altered in Internet Explorer 8 to encourage users to create the more safe option by choosing ‘yes’. choosing ‘yes’ to the Internet Explorer 7 dialog resulted in displaying both secure as well as non-secure content.
